Take It To The Limit!

Sights and Attractions

While Oakland is not as famous as its sister city across the bay, it has its own formidable museums, a nationally recognized zoo, historic landmarks, a thriving performing arts presence, culturally rich festivals and a number of state parks and golf courses for the outdoor enthusiast. Below are just a few sites listing the local attractions.

San Francisco is easily accessible by BART (metro rail), car, or ferry. If you're without a car, this is the most convenient city to travel to and around from Oakland.

San Jose is less than an hour's drive (except during commute time). Its most famous attraction is the Winchester Mystery House.
